About James

Since 1998, James has been producing award winning web sites, video and animation for a broad range of applications. After completing a BA (Hons) in Digital Animation, he worked on television documentaries, video post production, and traditional animation. This included work for high profile companies such as Cisco Systems, The Southern Co-op and The Royal Navy.

From there he moved onto design for the web, holding several senior positions at agencies and businesses within the financial services industry. During this time he worked on large scale projects for ASDA, Debenhams, PDSA and Aviva.

Founding Hash&Salt in March 2017, James has created sites for those in the wine production. These included e-commerce websites for Vineyards and tasting rooms based in Walla Walla Valley, United States. We also developed a site for a holiday tour company specialising in guided tours of vineyards, starting out from Seattle.
